Last week, we got a much awaited package from James' family. As soon as we found out we were having a girl, James' mom (a talented quilter) began making a pink girly quilt for Hazel. It's beautiful, and I wouldn't expect any less from her!
On the back, there is a very sweet note for Hazel. Does this mean she has settled on being called Nana??
Along with his parents, James' Aunt and Uncle sent along some sheets for the crib! They are in assorted colors, and will keep Hazel nice and cozy. Thanks, y'all!!
"May God bless her with a heart of love and courage. May he give her beauty on the outside and in. May she love the Lord with all of her heart and soul. May she seek God with all of her might. May she be a mighty witness for him and may she love and honor her parents all the days of her life."Prayer of blessings from James' Mom
Between the four of us, we've lived in 8 states and 3 different countries. We've been married 11 years and moved 11 times, making me simultaneously long for roots while missing my former homes. I don't feel exactly "right" anywhere. It's okay though - God has used this to remind me that since our citizenship is in heaven, we know we're not home yet!
