We went over to hang out with the Shefs for American Idol the other night. We tried keeping Hazel up a little past her bedtime so she could 'play' with Aashini, but she wasn't too thrilled about it.
It's funny, both Andrea and I had the idea to title our blogs "Buddies". I think it's because of this picture. How can you look at it and not think they look like buddies?
Andrea pointed out that Hazel looks like she's saying, "Oh my!" in this picture.
Then we had the "bright" idea to put the babies on their tummies. Immediately upon being put in this position, she rolls over now. So here she is, frustrated that the pillows are blocking her movement. This was end of the photo shoot for Hazel, who went to sleep promptly after her wail-fest. Aashini's face in this picture cracks me up! I'm really sad we only have a couple more months to hang out with the Shefs and our other great friends here in India. But one thing that cheers me up is that Hazel will have lots of other buddies to meet when we get back - Sophia, Boston and Olivia, and Micah, just to name a few.

yay! Those are great pics ;) How cute!! I love that last pic - it cracks me up! :) haha! and the "oh my" picture is my fave! haha! And that 2nd one is really cute too :) I like how they're looking in the same direction :) They're so cute!
I have a feeling that if you weren't to come home in a few months, that there would be quite an uproar state-side and a few anxious Grandpas would be on the first plane to come get you (or at least Hazel; remember, it's all about her, now!!) We're all anxious to see you face to face, but this blog (and the other one) have been absolutely wonderful. You have a future as an author...
I'm sure you get asked a lot, but what's next for you guys? The photos of Hazel are awesome!
These pics are too cute. I am so glad to see Aashini looking so healthy. She has definitely filled out too. Tell Andrea I like her hair! Leave it to me to notice hair, accessories, shoes, etc. :) In reference to the earlier blog, Hazel's Pops is about to have a coronary to get his hands on her. So, if you weren't coming home soon, he would be helping her Papa(?) move her home even if you weren't coming with her. :)
